I’m a regular here. Mosswood is one of those family owned shops where you’d like to go every single day if you could. They keep the menu fresh but with the favorite standby items too (their famous huge brownies, for one)! I never miss a … More pimento cheese tart when they have them, or anything made from fresh fruit (much of which they grow in the onsite garden)!

What a treasure! Outstanding coffee. Try the guava butter cake. It will blow your mind! Quaint little private seating around back. Really great garden in the back with 20 varieties of banana trees. Old Florida at its best.

Sleepy coffee shop in Micanopy. Delicious!! Try to pecan pie bar or the peanut butter brownie.

Nice big brownies and other pastries. They have organic coffee also. Only downside was lack of parking and service was a bit cold and she seemed annoyed.

Always love Mosswood. Have been visiting here for years and probably tried everything on the menu. Make sure to order pies here during the holidays as well as homemade toffee.

Great old time homemade bakery items, coffees and pleasant service. Cozy atmosphere. We took our cappuccinos and enjoyed them outside on their back porch.

It's a nice place in a very cool town. The space was a little crowded with a line, which will tell you two things: The food is good. People are willing to wait in line for it because it is so good.
With that being said, I hardly ever … More wait in lines, and it was kind of claustrophobic inside. The parking was also somewhat restrictive. The coffee was perfect, and the loaf of bread we bought was top-notch, even if I did have to wait outside on the porch while my spouse bought it. -

Great brownies,peach turnover,and a Basil bread loaf. I … More had been trying for 10 years to stop here. I met the owner's husband in Arcadia,FL at a wild food conference. The owners husband told me about his wood oven and that the Macanopy State Park had wild horses and wild Bison roaming throughout the park. Also there are banana tree growing classes when they have time to teach them.

Love this place. I’ve been coming here since I was a kid. I love the baked goods, the local products for sale, the garden in the back, and of course, my usual: the Liquid Truffle. And a brownie to go with it!

I stopped by this cute bakery while I was at the Fall Festival. They had a system and were able to help many customers. I ordered the Pecan Pie Bars and I absolutely loved them! They were perfect and I want to go back for more! I also tried … More the Quiche which I believe was a Broccoli Potato Cheddar. It was really good as well but could have been warmed just a little bit longer. Looking forward to next time!
