Wonderful tasting banana bread! You just cannot make a bad choice as everything is fresh and 😋 tasty! Also, a great bookstore for successful backyard gardening here in Florida. I'm now listening to Joe Pierce of Mosswood teaching us … More about Permaculture. And the gardens are just beautiful, and a great example of what we all could do with the right knowledge and help!

I’m a regular here. Mosswood is one of those family owned shops where you’d like to go every single day if you could. They keep the menu fresh but with the favorite standby items too (their famous huge brownies, for one)! I never miss a … More pimento cheese tart when they have them, or anything made from fresh fruit (much of which they grow in the onsite garden)!

What a treasure! Outstanding coffee. Try the guava butter cake. It will blow your mind! Quaint little private seating around back. Really great garden in the back with 20 varieties of banana trees. Old Florida at its best.

Nice big brownies and other pastries. They have organic coffee also. Only downside was lack of parking and service was a bit cold and she seemed annoyed.

Always love Mosswood. Have been visiting here for years and probably tried everything on the menu. Make sure to order pies here during the holidays as well as homemade toffee.

Great old time homemade bakery items, coffees and pleasant service. Cozy atmosphere. We took our cappuccinos and enjoyed them outside on their back porch.

Absolutely love this place, the food is decadent and they have the best savory pastries, the spinach and feta is my favorite. I also love that they have golden milk! It’s rare to find a bake shop this good, they also have a little shop … More of artisanal products like handmade blankets, intense, oh and they carry kombucha;)))

It's a nice place in a very cool town. The space was a little crowded with a line, which will tell you two things: The food is good. People are willing to wait in line for it because it is so good.
With that being said, I hardly ever … More wait in lines, and it was kind of claustrophobic inside. The parking was also somewhat restrictive. The coffee was perfect, and the loaf of bread we bought was top-notch, even if I did have to wait outside on the porch while my spouse bought it. -

Amazing ambiance and caring service. I wanted a coffee but didn’t expect such a great espresso preparation with the most amazing pastries to accompany my Cortado! Variety is great and the menu alone would seem like a lot more items than … More what the small community would perhaps consume, so applauds for the effort and great experience! Very lovely experience indeed and will come back when in the area. A+++ for service and great coffee and pastries!!!

Get there early or you might miss out on all the great food. The Americano coffee was great. The quiche was mostly cold. All the products in the display will be cold not room temp. Great brownies, peach turnover, and a Basil bread loaf. I … More had been trying for 10 years to stop here. I met the owner's husband in Arcadia,FL at a wild food conference. The owners husband told me about his wood oven and that the Macanopy State Park had wild horses and wild Bison roaming throughout the park. Also there are banana tree growing classes when they have time to teach them.

Had a great espresso here. We also picked up a brownie and a loaf of fresh rye bread to enjoy later. Everything was great!

Love this place. I’ve been coming here since I was a kid. I love the baked goods, the local products for sale, the garden in the back, and of course, my usual: the Liquid Truffle. And a brownie to go with it!

I stopped by this cute bakery while I was at the Fall Festival. They had a system and were able to help many customers. I ordered the Pecan Pie Bars and I absolutely loved them! They were perfect and I want to go back for more! I also tried … More the Quiche which I believe was a Broccoli Potato Cheddar. It was really good as well but could have been warmed just a little bit longer. Looking forward to next time!

This place is a unique gem! It’s a short drive from Ocala and a stone’s throw from UF Gainesville. If you’re in the mood of relaxing at a cozy, little coffee shop, this is the place! They have a few stools in the front porch, some tables … More inside, and a few tables in the back patio. The food and pastries are delicious.
